                                       FIELD TRIAL AWARDS

                                                      2009

CRFTC’s Licensed Trial trophies are awarded to members whose principle club is Colonial.  These trophies are awarded from results of the Fall Trial.

HOWES-BURTON TROPHY: goes to the highest placing Colonial member in the Amateur Stake.  In 2009 There were no placing dogs O/H by a member.  We have two JAM's: Splash & Hurricane's Hunter Owner: Malcolm Haith & Wingover's Oliver Owner Ginny Sislane

THE QUALIFYING TROPHY:  is awarded to the highest placing dog owned and handled by a Colonial member.  Our winner in 2009 is HEART AND SOUL’S SAVED owned and handled by Lois Munroe. 

THE HIGH POINT TROPHY: is awarded to the dog with the greatest number of points accumulated during the year in AKC and CKC licensed field trials.  The point system is Colonial’s own.  Our 2009 winner is FC AFC Cotes Du Rhone owned by Priscilla Johnson earning 102 points.  First runner up is MVP owned by Priscilla Johnson earning 94 points.

THE CAERNAC OWNER/HANDLER TROPHY: is awarded to the dog earning the greatest number of points in AKC trials being owner handled.  The 2009 winner is FC AFC Cotes Du Rhone Owner Priscilla Johnson with 74 points.

Runner up is Michael Chitro’s SUGAR TREE’S MOOSE POND GUNNER handled by Lois Monroe with a JAM.

THE HIGH POINT TROPHY: is awarded to the dog with the greatest number of points accumulated during the year in AKC and CKC licensed field trials.  The point system is Colonial’s own.  Our 2008 winner is AFC HARDSCRABBLES BLOWIN IN THE WIND owned and handled by Duncan Christie. “Dylan” earned 76 points.  First runner up is BEAVERDAM AU POIVRE owned by Sally Bridges.
