AKC 2 DAY ADVANCED HUNT TEST JUDGES SEMINAR

WHEN: OCTOBER 29-30, 2011

SWIFT RIVER TRAINING GROUNDS - TEMPLETON MA SAT PM & SUN
TIME: 8AM BOTH DAYS


This seminar will include a half day of classroom work with the rest of the day and Sunday spent in the field. At least 3 AKC field reps will be present to assist with test design and to critique the participants' judging. The host clubs will provide at least 3 dogs at all three levels for participants to judge. Scoring will also be discussed.

This seminar fulfills a seminar requirement for judging. Participants need not have attended a previous seminar.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided both days.

Whether it be a new addiction or a long time habit, Colonial Training Days are a fun place to spend time with your dog.  Come join in on the fun, make some new friends or reunite with some from the past. All levels are welcome…  from pups, to dogs in the quest and working, to old dogs who just like to retrieve.

OTHER TRAINING INFORMATION

Fees: Members $5.00 per dog  Non-members $10.00 per dog

  • Start at 9:00 AM – Finish at 2:00 PM (check schedule for exceptions)
  • Club will Provide: dead birds when available, handler guns, holding blinds, decoys … all we need to simulate a test/trial situation!
  • As a courtesy to others training, non-working dogs must be crated or kept on lead.
  • Bring your Lunch!
  • Please bring a WHITE COAT if you have one.

WE ARE VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE THE USE OF PRIVATE AND PUBLIC LAND FOR THESE TRAINING SESSIONS.  NEVER FEEL FREE TO RETURN TO THESE GROUNDS WITHOUT PERMISSION.  PLEASE PICK UP ANY LITTER, AND OBVIOUSLY, DO NOT LEAVE ANY TRASH OR DEAD BIRDS!  THANK YOU

These are club events and we thank ALL members for helping with set-up, working in the field, and clean-up !!
